About Pacific Sands

The Pacific Sands community in Huntington Beach, California, is considered to be well-established and peaceful to live in with its cul-de-sacs, wide streets, and large backyards. Residents enjoy the cool breezes from the ocean, and are only minutes away from stores, restaurants, and entertainment.

Pacific Sands is located in South Huntington Beach and is five minutes from the sandy shores off Beach Boulevard. This community features one to three story homes that have two to five bedrooms. The homes, built between 1961 and 1967, range from 1,000 to 2,500 square feet and are situated on 6,000 square-foot lots.

Community benefits include access to a club pool and tennis court. There are several highly ranked schools that are provided by the public education system including John R. Peterson Elementary School, Ethel Dwyer Middle School, and Edison High School. And there a variety of private schools in the Huntington Beach area including St. Bonaventure School, Hebrew Academy, Liberty Christian School, and The Pegasus School.

This neighborhood is a short distance from the Pacific Sands Cabana Swim and Racquet Club. This aquatic facility is the only one in Huntington Beach that is open every day from the early morning until 10 p.m. Members enjoy the heated pool and hot showers as well as the changing rooms. It’s a great place for the families that like to come for the swimming, tennis, and parties. This club has been around since the 1960’s and offers private lessons. It even has its own Pacific Sands Penguins Swim Team for 5 to18 year old members.

  Pacific Sands is also close to the Downtown District which features shops, restaurants, and nighttime venues. Huntington Beach is known as “Surf City” and a short bike ride will take you to the Huntington Beach Pier where you can watch amazing surf contests. There are many shopping centers as well that offer upscale stores and everyday services.
